2001 bmw x5 4.4i Mine 2001 BMW X5 4.4i has the same P0011 fault code for a long time and I am driving as usual without problems. I checked with several BMW mechanics one said it will cost around $3,000 another one said nearly $5,000 with some other existing codes.

2005 4.4i X5 transmission problems. I drive a 2003 4.4 X5. It has about 111,000 miles on it and unfortunately im having terrible transmission problems with it. Simply putting it into drive, I need to wait a good 5 seconds until the car is in gear. I took it to my local dealership and they said they would have to replace the entire transmission
Parasitic Battery Drain e53. Hey Guys - I'm new to this forum. Have been on BimmerForums since 2007 for my 1998 M3 e36 vert and my wife's 2005 X5 e53 SAV -- but learned this forum digs deeper into the X5. I've searched for parasitic battery drain threads and found lots of theories (FSU, NAV, TSU, Aux Fan, Radio, gear shift light/sleep mode, etc.) Fuse box diagram (fuse layout), location, and assignment of fuses and relays BMW X5 (E53) (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006).

Replacing e53 X5 instrument cluster with second hand unit. I want to replace the instrument cluster on my X5 4.4 with one from an X5 4.6iS. The instrument cluster from the 4.6iS looks better. After replacing the instrument cluster the ABS/Traction warning lights come on. I removed the errors using GT1 but the warnings return after a few seconds
