You have to be a contractor for the other Farm. You can select it in the tab where you select to be a farm manager. If you go into the Farms panel, there is a way for the farm manager to transfer funds to the other farm. So you can make a deal to have the contractor dump 45000l of Wheat into your grain mill and send him the agreed upon cash amount. The map layout and the number of farms in a server are also determined by the host. So, that should give you a clear idea about how does the FS22 multiplayer works. It can be very exciting to cooperate with your friends and transform a single farm. You can communicate in-game with a mic and hire other workers at the same time. The Fendt Vario, for example, uses around 40% less slots in Farming Simulator 22. Not all of them might benefit from a significant reduction of slot requirements, though - it depends on the machine.

Dave just has to create a multiplayer game on one of his computers (this means he is the host), choose savegame and mods and then configure the session (name, password etc).
