The water itself is safe to drink in Prague absolutely everywhere. Lots of people in this thread are commenting about hard water but it is not hard in general. The thing that causes your water to be hard are old pipelines which is a common problem especially in old flats (= most of the flats in Prague 1, 2, 3).
